How weapon repair works

The wiki groups AK, M4, Thompson, and Gold AK as +10 Scrap and 60 seconds. Pistol-class guns are +5 Scrap and 30 seconds. Nightwolf's Steam guide describes repairing at the crafting bench with the same split. I am treating those as the wiki number plus one community write-up, not as a second studio manual.

I watched the dock gunfight screenshot, which has no durability bar I can read, so I will not invent a durability percent. Craft skill is the other wiki lever: a 30-second recipe drops to 7.5 seconds at Craft level 10. That note is about recipe time, and the wiki applies it to crafting generally. I would still check the bench after a hotfix, because the 27–28 October patches landed after the wiki's 26 October update.

Bring scrap before a fight if the bench is back at your property. I do not have a source for repairing in the field.

Does repair cost cash?

The wiki line I used is scrap and time, not a dollar fee. I did not find a cash price for the same action.
