CAPTURE LOCATIONS, THEN WIN THE CLAIM

How to take and hold a district

Open Territories, choose a district and take its required protection-money businesses and selling points. Defeat defenders and complete each capture interaction. Once the required locations are yours, spend Prestige on the district claim and win the incoming battle with an armed group.

Mechanics and exact figures below come from the official Wiki alone, checked on 29 October 2026. They are single-source details; editorial route suggestions are identified separately.

Capture the local locations first

Owning a selling point and owning its district are separate states.

  • Inspect the chosen district on the Territories map and locate its required protection-money businesses and selling points.
  • Bring equipped fighters, defeat the local defenders and complete the capture interaction. Chapter 29 specifically directs you to click the sales area after neutralizing its guard.
  • Extort the protection-money businesses in the same district. Check that all required locations belong to you.
  • Earn the necessary Prestige through Office jobs, family requests and captures if you do not yet own any district.

Start and defend the district claim

Inspect the district claim icon after securing the required locations. Bring your armed group before starting, then hold the claim area against the incoming enemies until the battle is completed.

Hold the businesses after the victory

The Wiki gives a successful district claim 10 days of protection. Use that time to prepare defenses. Losing a required business before the claim battle starts can cancel a pending claim and return refundable Prestige.

  • At an attacked local business, attackers advance capture by reaching its capture area. Returning a valid defender interrupts capture and resumes fighting.
  • A captured selling point still needs its dealer/guard hired separately; district ownership does not staff it.
  • Basic tribute from a captured protection business does not require a partnership payment.
  • A partnership costs $10,000 × business tier and multiplies base tribute by 7. Daily income varies; recapture clears the partnership flag.

A district claim is one part of a family war

War Status tracks a rival’s original holdings, with half assigned to local businesses and half to district claims. Capturing one shop does not eliminate the family. Territory control, rival fighters and family elimination are distinct objectives. No complete district-name and star-rating list is available in the reviewed material.

Questions

Why can I not claim the district yet?

First take all required local protection-money businesses and selling points and have enough Prestige. Then start the claim battle from the district icon with your armed group present.

Does capturing a selling point hire a dealer?

No. Capture grants ownership; hire the shared dealer/guard separately from the point’s management panel.

Can I lose a pending claim?

The Wiki says losing a required local business before battle can cancel it and refund refundable Prestige. Defend those locations while preparing the claim.
