START WITH JOBS, THEN CLAIM TERRITORY
How to earn Prestige before your first district
You can earn Prestige before owning a district. Complete manual Office jobs, capture protection-money businesses or finish family requests, then save toward a claim. Territory adds recurring Prestige later. Cash, FV points and Prestige are separate balances.
Mechanics and exact figures below come from the official Wiki alone, checked on 29 October 2026. They are single-source details; editorial route suggestions are identified separately.
Early sources: no district required
Buy the $5,000 Office to receive jobs. Review difficulty, deadlines and completion conditions; delegated work should not be assumed to pay the manual-job Prestige reward.
| Action | Prestige | When it helps |
|---|---|---|
| Complete a manual Office job | 5 × job difficulty | Before the first district |
| Capture a protection-money business | 5 | While preparing a district claim |
| Complete a family request | 5 | When a request is available |
| Successful qualifying interrogation outcome | 5 | Later: Office L2 and capture/interrogation access |
| Own a district | 10 × district stars each day | After winning the claim battle |
A practical route to your first claim
This sequence is an editorial route using the documented earning methods.
- Start with manual Office jobs and available family requests to build the balance.
- Take protection-money businesses and selling points in your chosen district. Business captures also award Prestige.
- Save the claim cost for the district star rating. Control the required local locations before starting the district battle.
- Win the claim battle, then use recurring district Prestige to support expansion or Capo promotion.
Budget the spending
These costs deduct Prestige; Office upgrades and spies use cash, while feature unlocks use FV points.
| Action | Prestige cost |
|---|---|
| Claim a 1 / 2 / 3-star district | 100 / 200 / 300 |
| Promote an eligible gangster to Capo | 250, plus promotion unlock and Office seat |
| Dismiss an eligible family member | 100; no refund |
| Break a ceasefire | 100 |
Avoid spending the same balance twice
If a claim is your next goal, keep its Prestige in reserve before promoting a member. Dismissal also spends 100 and makes the fighter hostile. A pending district claim can be canceled if a required local business is lost before battle, with refundable Prestige returned under the Wiki rules.
Questions
How do I get Prestige without territory?
The Wiki lists manual Office jobs at 5 × difficulty, plus 5 each for protection-business captures, family requests and successful qualifying interrogation outcomes. Interrogation needs later Office and feature access.
How much does a district pay?
The Wiki lists 10 Prestige per star per day after the district is claimed: 10, 20 or 30 for 1, 2 or 3 stars.
Can money or Feature Vault points replace Prestige?
No exchange is documented. Earn the Prestige balance for claims, promotions, dismissals and ceasefire breaking.
